My dear Miss Booth
I read my sister's
story when it came
back from you yesterday,
and it struck me as
being bright enough
& be worth the trouble
of hardening to a
more [workable ?] length.
and that it would
be rather nice to [ ?] it
as a surprise to her;
but before beginning I
want to ask if I
may send it again
for your decision. should
I or so? I am
very anxious that
she should get into
the way of writing
sale-able [things ?] you
know it takes a
[writer ?] experience to
[trust ?] any writer what
[ ? ?] but dont
you think she has
quite a charming
[ ?] touch?
I am on the sofa
today which must excuse
my bad writing, and I
am dear Miss Booth
very cordially yours.
